Emily Dickinson

Fantastically profiling an entirely undiscovered until after her death, Emily Dickinson is largely regarded as one of the great American poets, a rarity even in modern society. Even more remarkable is that she came from an upper-middle class family, and spent her life studying, caring for her parents and the household, and developing a striking garden. She did not publish, marry, or, in later life, leave her homestead, and yet her work is strikingly universal in its reach and regard. Her designs reflect her restricted lifestyle while adding a striking backdrop to reflect her continuing impact.
