Half of the controversial, romanticized outlaws that would come to be known as "Bonnie and Clyde," Bonnie Parker was surprisingly known as a quiet, unremarkable girl who married young. After her husband revealed his drunken, violent nature and was incarcerated, she moved back home and seemed to settle: that is, until she met the handsome, charming, and newly paroled Clyde Barrow. Together, the pair and their gang robbed groceries, gas stations, and banks, and became both feared criminals and romantic heroes making their own destinies in a depressed economy empty of opportunities for the poor and downtrodden.

Parker wrote poetry while briefly incarcerated, largely about her deep love for Clyde and their inevitable fate. A line from one of her poems, called "Trail's End," appears on both her and Clyde's accent pillows. Her designs recreate her iconic look and are set on a vivacious pink backdrop.
